Event Description
- WHAT: Heavy snow. There is a likelihood of developing or ongoing major winter weather impacts to isolated extreme winter storm impacts. Additional snow accumulations of 5 to 11 inches Taft to Lookout Pass and 2 to 5 inches in the valleys. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
- WHERE: Evaro Hill, Highway 200 Trout Creek to Heron, I-90 Lookout Pass to Haugan, and Highway 200 Thompson Falls to Plains.
- WHEN: Until 5 PM MST Saturday.
- IMPACTS: For MAJOR winter weather impacts, expect considerable disruptions to normal activities. Dangerous or impossible traveling conditions. Avoid travel in the impacted areas if possible. Widespread closures and disruptions to infrastructure may occur. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute, especially over higher passes.
