Event Description

• WHAT: Periods of moderate to heavy snowfall, strong winds, and blowing snow. Additional snow accumulations between 6 and 14 inches. Winds gusting as high as 75 mph.
• WHERE: Absaroka/Beartooth Mountains and Crazy Mountains.
• WHEN: Until 2 PM MST Saturday.
• IMPACTS: Mountain recreation will be impacted by heavy accumulating snow and blowing snow. Whiteout conditions are expected at times.
• ADDITIONAL DETAILS: The heaviest snowfall will occur on west and northwest facing slopes. The mountains around Red Lodge and Nye will see much less snowfall, 2 to 6 inches.
