Event Description

• WHAT: Hot conditions with high temperatures of 90 to 100. Today is expected to be the hottest day.
• WHERE: Portions of central and south central Montana.
• WHEN: Until 9 PM MDT Sunday.
• IMPACTS: Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.
• ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Hot daytime temperatures combined with warm overnight low temperatures will produce cumulative heat stress. This heat stress will become dangerous to anyone without adequate cooling and hydration.

Event Instructions

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
